Driving to Stanwood, WA, on an errand and being somewhat free after many months of working on my real estate must-do list, I arrive back again at English Boom.

Yesterday, on a lovely Sunday close to evening hours, I put myself in the car with my art supplies and headed the two miles north to Snohomish along Highway 9. I noted the sky beginning to close its day with darkness, and at the same time, as I exited near the Harvey Airport, an old barn to my right sat abandoned, nestled in the valley field, close to the river. YES!
